Ana Eizaguirre
International Head Of Market Research
THE BODY SHOP |
| |
|
|
Curiosity and a passion to understand people has guided my career. From Unilever, to Diageo, William Grants and now The Body Shop, I’m forever interested in how group behaviour and social norms impact people’s individuality, how popular culture shapes who we are and what our choice of brand is as a result. To quote Anita Roddick, “If you do things well, do them better. Be daring, be first, be different, be just.”

Tim Wade
Marketing Director GB
BEST WESTERN |
| |
|
|
Tim Wade is the Head of Marketing at Best Western Hotels. He joined Best Western after delivering great results across some of the largest retail, financial services and telecoms companies. He double the acquisition of current accounts at Alliance & Leicester and grew the Phones 4u brand to what it is today, before moving on to the largest group of independent hotels in the world. The challenge is great, taking a brand that is perceived as tired and dated and making it relevant and compelling. The task is made that bit harder because Best Western is a group of independent hotels – so the brand experience is controlled by 280 individual hotels. Tim has already delivered impressive revenue growth by using data insight, creativity, innovation, good commercial business sense and there is a lot more to come in 2010.
